| If I wanted the best FMIC kit on the market I would contact T0M too. If I wanted 2.5" inlet pipes today I would contact T0M for that as well simply because I understand he can make them in out of Aluminum, this has the obvious weight benefit (my aluminized steel oversized intake piping is HEAVY), and also I have some fears of aluminized steel pipe not holding up as long with water injection (rust). That might change in the future as I know Ash is investigating a completely mandrel bent (non welded) intake piping solution with the possible option of having sets made out of Aluminum. But, with Ash so busy with other things, and the fact that there is nothing stopping T0M from starting on full AL intake pipe (besides other orders) today - I would seek T0M for AL intake piping until Ash has the details worked out on the completely mandrel bent solution (mandrel bent = no leaks). The only negative thing I have ever heard about T0M is it takes a while to get things after you place an order. I guess thats the price you pay for hand crafted top notch products. All that said, I would buy performance parts from the devil (if there was such a thing) himself if it was the best priced and performing part available. Your comment about fabrication, welding and being stand up aren't as relevant in regards to Ash's current SMIC groupbuy IMO since he A) isn't fabricating them (he only made the original mold - another company will be making the end tanks) b) isn't welding them himself (another company is doing that too) and c) won't be taking your money for obvious reasons. There I go being long winded again, either way guapo - I always appreciate your honest input, and you are still the man to me. Instruct me at Hallett in May?
